If your completely locked out of your OS X login, don’t worry, there is a quick and easy way to get you back in.
Please note that for this process you will need a copy of OS X and a disc drive to perform this reset.
- Insert the OS X install disc into your machine.
- Restart your Mac and during the initial boot up, hold down the “C” key. You should now be booting from the DVD.
- On the menu above select Installer then Reset Password
- Choose the account you want to change the password on.
- Change your Password
- Reboot and you’re done.
