The Legend of Zelda Inspired Playing Cards

These Legend of Zelda inspired playing cards look amazing. You will find all your favorite characters as Kings, Queens and Jacks. Rupees, hearts, swords and the Triforce are also featured.

Since Nintendo did not actually make these, they are titled The Cards of Legend.

These poker-sized playing cards are produced by the US Playing Card Company (USPCC), the same company responsible for the famous Bicycle card decks.

Xbox One Specs

Microsoft did a great job revealing to us the new Xbox One, here are some of the specs that will be in this system coming later this year:

This “all in one” system will work seamlessly together for games, entertainment and television.

Microsoft promises that you’re “going to have a relationship with your TV.”

Voice commands can be used to go from TV to game to internet without any lag, as was demonstrated. You will be able to use universal gestures such as swipe, and grab and pan. Skype will also be a part of Xbox One.

With the new Kinect, you won’t need to log in manually, it will recognize you and log you in. Microsoft says that it will be able to read your heartbeat and has a better understanding of rotational movement.

TV on Xbox sounds like its going to be pretty cool. Not only can you use it to watch regular channels it seems as though they are creating a channel of their own, as Steven Spielberg announced  a new Halo TV series. The NFL has also joined Xbox and showed us some interaction with fantasy stats and using Skype with NFL broadcasts.

There will be 15 new games within the first year, eight of which will be brand new franchises. Forza 5 was shown, and a new game called Quantum Break.

For XboxLive they promise 300,000 servers for Xbox One

If there’s one accessory that’s pretty much an essential it’s got to be the case. Our brand new shiny phones are so elegant and sleek but they are vulnerable. Both cases are extremely thin and lightweight, this is nice considering Samsung has spent so much time trying to make the device powerful yet lightweight and comfortable to use. We don’t want to make our phone bulky just by adding a cover to it.

Overall, this case is lightweight, durable and features a brushed metal look on the front of the flip cover and a glossy rear cover the matches the actual phone design. I really like the look of the new S4 and matching the phone’s design was pretty clever. This is a great case for the soon to be available Galaxy S4.

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia

I am a HUGE Legend of Zelda fan. When I saw this book was translated to English and released in the U.S, I had to have it immediately!

From beginning to end, this book is perfect. I love all the concept art, designs of every character you can imagine and seeing all the different versions and ideas the artists came up with.

Another thing that I found to be very interesting, was the chronology. Seeing the official timeline of all the stories, that is something Zelda fans have always wanted to know officially.

 At the end of the book, there is a special manga comic based off Skyward Sword.

There are so many things I want to share, but I wouldn’t want to spoil it!

Product Review: Retractable Car Charger for iPhone

With all of our smart phones and devices made to be our everything, we can’t have them dying on the road. Most people use car chargers nowadays, and recently my last one broke so I was in the market for a new one. The last one I owned had a long cord and when I wasn’t using it just got in the way or tangled up when trying to put it away.

I thought this retractable car charger was a great idea so I had to get it. With it’s neat retractable cord there’s no wires hanging all over the car and in the way, and prevents tangles. Another nice feature about this device is that there’s an extra USB port, which can be used to hook up many other usb powered devices or to charge two devices at once. There’s also plenty of cord to go around at a total length of 90cm.

The bottom line is it’s a great charger, especially for the price and I haven’t found anything about it I don’t like. If you are looking for a great iPhone charger at a good price, I recommend this one.
