The much anticipated Star Wars Episode VII now has an official teaser trailer! Initial impressions are really good, even though we can only make a decision based on less then two minutes of footage. Looking forward to getting more information on the new film.

StarWars.com says shooting is scheduled to begin spring 2014 at Pinewood Studios.
Newly declassified information actually contains the first official acknowledgement of Area 51 by the government along with information on just exactly what was going on behind closed doors. Area 51 is mentioned many times in the documentation and is also shown in a declassified map (shown above).
The primary use of Area 51 according the the newly released history was, no surprise here, to test out secret US government projects, but more interestingly, the declassified history points out the secretive development of the U-2, a high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft used by the CIA and USAF to gather intelligence. The documents go into great detail and include information like the names of pilots, code names, locations, inter-govermental co-operation details, cryptonyms and more.
Unfortunately, for those who are awaiting acknowledgement of extraterrestrial life, you will have to wait a little longer. There are clearly no references to knowledge of alien life forms, but there is a ton of awesome, once highly secretive and classified information that’s now available to the public.

Adam Savage from Mythbusters dressed up as Chewbacca at the 2013 Comic-Con earlier this year to raise money for charity. Adam was inducted into the 501st Legion: the largest international fan organization for Star Wars cosplayers. This video is from Tested, a great geeky website that I mentioned earlier that Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman are a part of.
This years Comic-Con has revealed even more cool stuff as we now have an official title for The Avengers 2, which is The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Writer/director Joss Whedon took the stage during Marvel’s Panel and gave the audience a teaser of the new movie. Marvel offered an additional sneak-peek at Thor: The Dark World , Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy as well. Unfortunately, we haven’t found any footage of the trailer yet as Marvel has decided not to release any of it online. Hopefully something comes along, and when it does we promise to share. The Avengers: Age of Ultron is expected to be in theaters by May 2015.
