Nintendo Officially Announces Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will be hitting store shelves in North America on February 21st 2014. The all new Donkey Kong makes it’s HD debut with a new playable character, Cranky Kong!
The game looks really good in HD and the trailer on Nintendo’s website really showcases that the most. The video above is the official announcement from Nintendo via Reggie on VGX. Nintendo also plans to release some other big titles in 2014 including a new Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and eventually a new Legend of Zelda adventure. 2014 could be setting up to be a big year for Nintendo.
Get A Call of Duty Dog Tag for Charity
Activision has announced that they will be offering a limited edition dog tag which will benefit the Call of Duty Endowment, a private nonprofit foundation that supports groups placing former service members into high quality careers and raises awareness of the value veterans bring to the civilian workplace.
The dog tags will cost $4.99 and were made available on November 5th, 2013 to coincide with the launch of Call of Duty Ghosts. The dog tag will be sold in more than 12,000 stores across the country including GameStop, Costco, Walmart, Toys R Us, Best Buy and Target.
The Legend of Zelda Now Available in Nintendo Wii U eShop
The Legend of Zelda from NES is now available for download in the Nintendo Wii U eShop.
The Wii U version includes new features like the ability to save on the fly and play the game on the Wii U GamePad. The game is currently selling for $4.99, unless you already own it for the Wii, then the upgrade will only cost you $1.00.
It’s worth having your game on the Wii U interface to avoid having to switch to Wii mode. Otherwise, the game remains untouched and just as good as it ever was. If you haven’t already played the original Legend of Zelda, you are missing out on an amazing experience.

Cubemen 2 on the Way to Wii U
An outstanding indie-game, Cubemen 2, is going to be making it’s way to the Wii U. The game is already available for PC, Linux, Mac and iOS and has be very successful. You can battle against up to six (6) others, regardless of platform, or against the AI in a RTS style action game that includes many modes like capture the flag and skirmish.
The game boasts over 4000 user created levels that you can download and play or even create your own. In Cubemen 2 you can also personalize your units the way you want for a truly customized experience. This will be a great addition to the Wii U which is a solid piece of hardware in need of great software titles like this.

Cubemen 2 is expected to be released late 2013 / early 2014 as a downloadable title on the Wii U in the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Price to be announced.
